A green body was heated to 80+3°C at a constant heating rate o f 2 K/min, and kept at this temperature for 30 min. A l l free water and most bound water evaporated rapidly in the microwave furnace. After drying, the green bodies were sintered by a conventional method. The sintering temperature was 1000°C, the heating rate was 10 K/min and the holding time was 2 h. The densities o f green and sintered bodies were measured by the Archimedes method.
