He was soon providing voices for children’s characters on such series as The Lone Ranger, The Green Hornet, and Challenge of the Yukon. He was hired by AlkaSeltzer to be the spokesperson for their animated character 24 Speedy. He also worked on commercials for Oscar Mayer, the Campbell Soup Kids, Bob’s Big Boy, and Sticky, the Vaseline mascot.
